This space for rent...

I can't think of a darn thing to put here, and I have to go into work early today. Bleh.

I've been fiddling with my MagPul PMAG, doing silly things like tossing it down my stairs fully loaded, only to find that my camera batteries are dead, so I'll need to do the whole thing over again if I'm going to make a post out of it.

Anyhow, maybe more this evening. Chat amongst yourselves.

If you're ever searching for something to post, maybe gentle pointers for the up and coming soon to maybe be firearm owners? Tips/tricks, what to avoid, good products, storage, cleanign tips, discussions, etc.

While I'm on the topic, whats a good way to secure a 20 ga. pump while not in use? Triggerlock?

I ordered up 3 of those PMAGs myself after seeing Larry over at THR mention them. They should be here today or maybe tomorrow.

I'll let my dog use one for a chew toy for a while and see how it holds up.

Tam,

What is your opinion on Rock River Arms? I just purchased an LAR-15 that's pretty tricked out with quad rail, upgraded sights, and other goodies. Seems to be quality construction, and shoots quite well. I had narrowed down my choices to this one or a Bushmaster, and the RRA won out. I have a friend with an Olympic Arms AR, and I didn't like how his shot at all. DPMS is based here in Minnesota, but I've not heard good things about them, admittedly second-hand. I figured with Colt I was going to be overpaying for the brand name, is that correct? Thanks in advance.

Tam... just got this from a friend of mine, and for some reason it reminded me of you...

The World's Shortest Fairy Tale...

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl "Will you marry me?" The girl said, "NO!" And the girl lived happily ever after and went shopping, dancing, camping, drank martinis, always had a clean house, never had to cook, did whatever the hell she wanted, never argued, didn't get fat, traveled more, had many lovers, and had all the hot water to herself. She went to the theater, never watched sports, never wore fricken lacy lingerie that went up her ass, had high self esteem, never cried or yelled, felt and looked fabulous in sweat pants.

FWIW, it was at that point in your post that I fell out of my chair laughing and concussed myself.

Lucky girl! :)
