Train derailed in Russia.

Interfax news agency, citing law enforcement sources, said a crater measuring about 1.5 meters (5 ft) in diameter was found underneath one of the carriages.

I wish I could take anything coming out of Putinville at face value these days, but if the Russian government were to claim the sun was rising in the east I'd look out the window to double check.

But could a 1.5 meter indentation really be considered a crater? I mean, when I think of "craters," I think of something visible with naked eye from a distance of-say-the moon. 1.5 meters would be more akin to a divot, wouldn't you say? Or, one might stretch to pothole.
