On November 5, 1917, the U. S. Supreme Court told every State, City, and County that they couldn't use their power to make black folks live in a particular location.

On May 17, 1954, the U. S. Supreme Court told every State, City, and County that they couldn't use their power to make black children go to segregated schools.

And today, the U. S. Supreme Court told every State, City, and County that they couldn't use their power to force people- specifically, lakhs of black people in Washington, D. C.- to remain unarmed and helpless in their own homes.

I think the ghosts of the Sweet family smile.

Thank you for the kind linkage.

I'm *still* giggling madly at the many, many lovely aspect of the Heller ruling. It's not the whole shebang, but MY what cans of worms it opens...
