First Person Sh__ter.

While I do not play games on the Facebookings, the sheer variety of the games the machine constantly tries to pimp to me is amazing. Check out this torn-from-the-headlines offering:

"Try vCruise, the exciting new cruise simulator from Spishak Software! Put together a team of tourists and attempt to survive a winter cruise on the SS William Golding. Organize foraging parties to raid the galleys on the lower decks. Defend the breezy chaise lounges on the shuffleboard court from the plebeian hordes boiling up from steerage. Keep a lookout for cannibals while your teammates defecate over the rail. All the excitement of a real cruise without leaving your office!"

"Spishak Software".

Tam,
I believe that is properly spelled "Spyshack". Your spelling charm may have gotten stale and need re-activation. I have some spare eye of newt (the magickal potion ingredient not the Lonesome Dove character) if you need it.
As with everything on facebook it is doubtless engineered to steal info and or track what you do and who you talk to.

Keep up the good work. Your blog starts my day (another way of shifting blame when I have a bad day, LOL!)

Btw, just noticed that Hezbollah or fatah or one of those "ah " groups fired rockets into Israel overnight. If they caused casualties in your president's retinue would that change administration views, or be attributed to poor communication? I'm just sayin'.

Well, I was sold at the ship's name: SS William Golding. Too bad it's only a Facebook simulation, because I'd be totally on board for the real thing.

But I think I would have won playing Survivor just by being deliberately obtuse. The day after they dropped us off on the island I'd meet the camera crew on the beach asking "When do I get the million bucks? What do you mean, why? I'm the survivor. Duh. Uh, no, you really don't want to go back in that jungle. seriously."

I see what you did with the title there... Very clever...

I'm with Steve, the first night everyone went to sleep on survivor, fifteen minutes later I'd be the winner. :). JK

Another fine product from Spishak! I'd laugh, but I used one of their products to shave this morning, and now look like a first rate professional business man.

I think playing that game would be kinda fun. I do not understand why people voluntarily pay money to be confined in a big slow-moving barge, which is going nowhere in particular, with thousands of extraverted neurotypicals (who might as well all be chimpanzees as far as I am concerned)

The opportunity to Git Sum, even virtually, would be entertaining.

Larry Correia should write a Monster Hunter novel with a cruise ship episode.

P.s. I think it is still possible to book passage in freighters which have a few passenger cabins. You can stay in your cabin and read, and only come out for exercise, or to dine with the officers (if you want to).
