It's perhaps the most damn foolish idiocy I've ever encountered. Further, as a computer programmer, it plays hell with computers! Time is hard enough to deal with, without switching what time it is twice a year. Something else I'm hot over with this change in when DST starts -- all the devices like VCRs and programmable thermostats that have the DST switch date burned into a chip.

Daylight Savings Time, an idea whose time has past!Rob Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15604826633798229422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15907727.post-68484030228369237382007-03-11T20:48:00.000-04:002007-03-11T20:48:00.000-04:00And if you work at a place with *flex-time* with "...And if you work at a place with *flex-time* with "as-necessary" in your contract or description and do occasional nights and weekends, this makes what kind of difference?

What I noticed on The Commute is that hardly anybody (around here among the Left-leaning, Priuscapade Bay-Aryans anyhow) actually goes to work at the same time, it would be a nightmare traffic jam in the AM - but they do seem to leave work at the same time and inflict that predetermined nightmare traffic upon each other.
