The chinese are making all the pollution. Why does it exist? because the EPA forced the manufacturing out of this country. Eventually the chinese would have done this on their own, but the destruction of the US industry is the prime mover.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15907727.post-710257666081483982008-08-07T08:47:00.000-04:002008-08-07T08:47:00.000-04:00Brad K.,There is a certain tongue-in-cheek element...Brad K.,

There is a certain tongue-in-cheek element to this.Tamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07285540310465422476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15907727.post-46333928371828499642008-08-07T08:44:00.000-04:002008-08-07T08:44:00.000-04:00Tam, blaming our EPA for the Chinese choosing to ...Tam, blaming our EPA for the Chinese choosing to release pollutants is silly.

The one holding the tool is responsible for using it well, and safely.Brad K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/18378344866487206569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15907727.post-44312100212150722002008-08-06T21:34:00.000-04:002008-08-06T21:34:00.000-04:00Tam: You're the biggest polluter? It is definitely one of the more polluted cities I have been in but I will say that Jakarta or Mexico City can give it a run for its money on a bad day.

The pollution is bad. What can you say about it? But as the locals told me, their economy was great and ours was in the tank. We made our choices as a country and now we get to enjoy them.

The one comment I will always remember from my time in China was one of the locals who when asked about the lack of freedom, he said 'you can't eat freedom'.

Neat country. Just you have to get out of the cities and see the back country.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
