Why do drive-through ATM's have braille buttons?

  1. Or, more likely, because the keypads are not made especially for ATMs but are a standard part which could be used in any number of non-drive-up applications.

  2. Wow - great minds... This braille atm post was before I had discovered the splendor of your blog, I think. I certainly hope I didn't plaigiarize, even if unintentionally! But that reminds me - I obviously need to go back and read your archives and make sure I'm not missing anything!
