I thought the Pro-Tec helmet/Springer Pro and Roman legionary's helmet/gladius made a nice juxtaposition of 2000 years' worth of professional soldier's gear. Purely an artsy affectation...
That works for me; the gladius, like the 1911, was a proven winner, and was reliable in the hands of a a disciplined soldier. Now, we may need to see a Garand next to a pilum for effect...
