NZ Bear is reworking the algorithms because - as usual - people are gaming the system. Also, during the holidays, things change as people are doing other things.
But probably you had 1 or 2 really popular posts that had a large number of links, and those links are dropping off the front page of other blogs - TTLB only looks at main pages for links.
