Cowboy Blob has one. SayUncle's building one. Alston wants one. Rock River builds a metal one. Bushmaster builds a plastic one. OlyArms builds one that eats out of Glock mags.
I wonder why the sudden flurry of interest?
Possibly the cold, wet background in the photo above is a clue: I'm gonna go shoot my rifle today. In the warm, dry, climate-controlled Great Indoors. :)
BTW, me and some folks are going in to get some promags from Natchess for $10.99 each. They won't ship to TN so I got someone to order them in VA who will ship to me. If you and alston are interested, let me know how many you guys want. email me at sayuncle at gmail dot com.

Me,
ReplyDeleteI'd just like a plain jane old regular AR-15 to begin with. Think my significant other would pretty much consider that grounds for castration at this point though. . . . .
I'm planning on building one too, even though I belong to an indoor range that allows .223. I just think they're cool.
ReplyDeleteI just placed an internet order to Natchez for a coupla mags (thanks for the link, Uncle; their catalog had squat I could find). It's been over a year since I last tried to get Rocky to work right. Thanks to Tam for pointing out the right mag format.
ReplyDeleteMine eats Colt mags and is stamped "LEO/MIL/Export only". It's a good'un, I tell'ya whut.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and yours has Da Switch, too.
ReplyDelete...not that I'm jealous, or anything... ;)
