  1. Yet more evidence of the Teutonic Tendency to Rube-Goldberg the living sh!t out of any mechanism they can get their hands on.

Sorry Tam. I've had my hands on one, and it was as accurate as anything I've ever shot, but it's unique, and in a bad way, IMO.

    Nice pic, regardless.

  2. I always wanted one very badly...but it weights more than a Glock 17, holds half the ammo, rusts readily and has a strange manual of arms. H&K tech support or parts range from nonexistent to costly. Heats up nastily after a range session. Quite a price to pay for low recoil and accuracy. I still like them, just can't convince myself to buy it.

  3. Not to mention that it saved more than one state troopers life.

After the goblin got the gun away from the trooper they were too stupid to squeeze the grip to cock the weapon...

I have also always wanted one...

  4. Shweet! I have one I bought waay back in the day for <$400.00. Accurate as hell with a great trigger (judicious fine stone work slicked it up way good). Only down side is that it's a little "twitchy" without much muzzle weight to dampen it.

  5. Well, it also cost more than one innocent's life, because troopers were too stupid (well, rather 'not trained enough') to keep their index finger straight while the other fingers squeezed the grip to cock the gun.
