  2. Ron Paul is the anti-Bush, I think. I like his domestic policies by-and-large, but when it comes to international relations, no thank you.

(I admit I'm ignorant on where he stands vis-a-vis illegal immigration, but if he sticks with the hardline "Big-L" libertarian position, really "no thanks.")

  3. Tam,

I like Ron Paul quite a bit, and if someone could convince Zell Miller to get back into the national scene somehow (I realize that he has been ostracized by his own, so that kinda narrows the possibilities), I'd vote for either of them.

A better idea, however, might be getting a certain blonde that we all know into the mix. (wink, wink) You are smarter than just about anyone I can think of in our national deliberative body. Tam for Congress. Look into it.

I'd like to see you smack some sense into each and every one of the other 434 members.

  4. Sorry. If I wanted a walking joke in the White House, I'd vote Democrat.

  5. Ron Paul requested a formal declaration of war ... you know, that thing the constitution talks about?

The Republican leadership chose not to do that.

As for jokes running for office ... how would you like to see ANY of the current top R candidates in charge of defending the second amendment?

  7. Yep, he's your boy. Stubborn, consistent, ucompromising--everything MSM hates in a politician. He sends out the very hell of a little cookbook to his supporters, too, and doesn't use his franking privilege to do it.
