Fortunately, we live in a place where are free to buy those magic rocks. can you believe in some countries, the government decides what people are allowed to believe? Here in the U.S. it is only a group of short and narrow sighted members of our society deciding what I should or should not believe in. Good thing I'm a veteran, I proudly served to defend their right to try to tell me I am 'wrong' for my beliefs.
I'm not one of those guys that names my weapons, but I made an exception for my FAL: "Deodand". Though derived from the Latin, I think it has a vaguely Norse ring to it.

The deodand is alive and as well as wergild: check any federal court RICO seizure notice and you'll see such cases as "United States vs. Twelve Thousand Dollars" or "United States vs. one Mossberg shotgun."

As far as this blog post goes, I kind of wish I'd written that, too. That's an extremely straightforward way to say what I've been using 10 paragraphs at a time to try to explain to people. Guns don't kill people...people use guns to kill people. SLIGHT difference there.
