Hey, Tam... You talk a lot about the boomsticks, and you talk a little about the books...
When do you talk about the bikes?
I was thinking about this during my 110 mile, FOUR HOUR ride in the rain and a 60 freakin' traffic jam ride home last night on my BMW R80RT. In the rain. (it's a darn thing I wasn't carrying last night because I really wanted to shoot something...)
'Course, I gotta admit, at first I saw double. Judicious use of a 1919 pretty much means you never need one of them pistol thingies. Kinda' like Quigley, only more so.
I spat my cigarette out laughing about that. :D

Uh... make that "a 60 freaking mile traffic jam".
ReplyDeleteSorry.
Tam, I guess it's safe to say you're a 1 and 3.
ReplyDeleteMyself, I gotta agree with 7.62x54r.
I'm a 1 & 3, also.
ReplyDeleteBUT a true S&W afficionado would say "Chief's Special", "Terrier" or "M & P"
This model number thing is just a passing fad.
Heh. Glad you liked it, Tam.
ReplyDeleteInteresting part is that it was just a quick, fleeting thought that popped into my head and gave me a quick chuckle, so I figured I'd share.
And no, that's not my model 19 (of either), but there may be something in the works... :)

ReplyDeleteOh dear gods, that was funny! Now if I can stop giggling long enough to breathe...
