So the bimmer crouches in Oleg's driveway, front wheels turned sharply to the right, and I notice that... Whoah! It's new tire time on the front end for sure. I mean, the air's not showing through the tread yet, but it's about to be.
...and 225/45 17's aren't cheap.
Watch this space for some great deals on some of my swords when I get home. :(
You don't have a Patton Saber, do you?
ReplyDeleteYou can't sell a sword.
ReplyDeleteIt's immoral.
You can gift one, or leave it in the body of a deserving departed, but you can't sell one.
Still,
$900 in tires is serious swag....
Din't feel too bad. Imagine my 255/35/ZR19s
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm sure those tires run a dollar or two. I always used to feel robbed after putting good tires on my Z, but they were a helluva lot more wallet friendly size.
ReplyDeleteI get the feeling that even if you make a deal on a sword and think you're ready to part with it, the buyer may find his or her self engaged in single combat with it to get to bring it home.
Check with tire rack(?)- an on-line store - I think it is. I was able to save better then 30% on the cost even with having it shipped overseas.
ReplyDeleteI'll vouch for Tire Rack. I bought my last set of tires from them, in a more mundane 205/60-15 size; the deal was sweet and the installation (at a local shop) was drama-free.
ReplyDeleteThey'll get my business for the 215/55-16s I have on my current car, too.
