Who didn't see something like this coming?

iCan't believe they're that dense.

$79 and a three day turnaround? That's going to play well in Peoria. Good job limiting your potential market to the bunker-mentality types with Apple tattoos, Stevie. Now the rest of us will just have to wait until Sony clones your toy for less money, but with replaceable batteries.

  1. Bet'cha Ipod Juice will beat that easy. They charge the same for changing batteries in all ipods. I got mine for $24 with directions and the required tool.

  2. I'm not surprised quite frankly - they did the same thing with the Ipod... The only difference was when the Lithium Ion batteries started dying with in the Ipods, Apple's initial response was "Go out and buy another one". Steve Jobs has made a fortune selling crappy underperforming hardware in a sleek package to idiots, and the Iphone shows no sign of breaking the trend..

  3. Heh,

I swap batteries on my cell phone all the time...and charge them later when I have time and plug available.

My buddies who fly a lot for work do the same for laptop batteries.

A battery driven equipment without a battery swap. No thanks.
