Yay! More inflation!

In an attempt to drive up the prices of consumer goods and fast food, as well as improve the under-the-table employment opportunities for illegal aliens, the "Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007" takes effect today.

Boy, the name alone tells you everything you need to know about the law, its future consequences, and the mentality of the jackanapes and scoundrels who penned it.

  2. Meanwhile, here in Illinois, the governor just signed a ban on smoking in all "public places." Basically, you can smoke in your house, your car, or outdoors (if your municipality allows it.)
    Other than that, it's verboten.
