Sometimes the jokes write themselves...

In comments to a Larry Craig post at Varifrank, Clayton E. Cramer wrote:
"He's my senator, and it hurts to see a strong defender of the right to keep and bear arms going down."

These are the jokes, folks. I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

  1. Clayton Cramer?! For a guy who claims that Christianity claims says that gayness is bad and all. Except when those faggots like our guns. Then um, what exactly? Suck my rifle, shotgun, or other?

Conservative Republicans, Clayton Cramer sure makes me wanna vote for somebody else.

  2. It's a damned shame that Sen. Craig is getting calls to resign. He's really taking it in the ass over this!

  3. Hey, for all the jokes this was the guy that pulled his own bill rather than see an AWB renewal attached to it. He's been a great RKBA ally up there in Washington.

Personally, I'm pretty darn disappointed he fell like this.

There's a multi-paragrapher coming on this topic. Trust.

  5. That was as good as Craig himself starting his press conference with "Thank you for coming out."

  6. This whole Craig incident was about as sad as Elvis dying on the toilet.

Whether Mr. Craig is gay is not the issue. What disgusts me is the idea of anyone cruising public restrooms looking for sex of any variety. Erotic activities in an aromatic men's room to a soundtrack of high-pressure flushing: where does that get fun?
