...and to think that I flinched last night when my little '43-vintage Duo clattered to the flagstones. That crack in the grip panel had already been glued once...

    I can only imagine what antique oddity Xav is going to find for his wife to help make up for that one. I've had one of those moments, it was just a beat up little key wind key set Vacheron from around 1860 but it was one of the first truly old watches I had ever bought.
