  1. Oh, Carteach-- you don't know?

Our Lady Of The Snark is about to try on a who new decade of her life...

Don't bring her black balloons-- bring her pounds of H110, Unique, and 231 powder. Aw, hell-- get her a little Ffg, if it makes you feel better.

  3. Bah, being 30 is nothing.

Life really doesn't begin until you hit 40.

    Happy Birthday!

  4. No Matt, didn't know.
Okay though, I'm used to not knowing things.

Nothing 'black' about it. Just time passing, which is not a bad thing at all.

Another year past, which *I* am happy about for Tam, just on a personal greed level. I never heard of her a year ago, and now I have. That makes it a better year for me, and everyone else who knows her, or is a fan.

It marks another year to come... even better. A world with Tamara in it is a better world to live in.

So, Tam, should it be sad to reach 40, or happy? My vote is happy, and I say Happy birthday... and thank you for sharing my world!
Please continue... for a long time to come.

  5. Unless you are only just reaching thirty?

No... so much wisdom, snark, and beauty by only thirty? Not possible.

But... I wouldn't put it past Tammy... to be only thirty....
    Just barely grown.

No, better to be forty, when life really begins to get good.

  6. Aw, she's a kid -- chronologically! Wise far beyond her years. An' the best sister-from-aother-family there is. Happy birthday, Tam!

  7. Matt,

Bring black balloons.... just make sure they're full of a stochiometric acetylene/oxygen mix, and have tracers at the standby :)

    Happy birthday Tam.

  8. Are you professional enough to be fo-tay?

  9. Apparently you were being born right about the time my parents were getting romantic. My Black Tuesday 40th is the tail end of September.

The real question is: what gun are you buying for yourself to celebrate? And will it be a .40?

  10. Plays 10, looks 20, drives 30, talks 40, thinks 50...

    Maybe a Smith&Wesson 610?

  12. Ah, too much sense to dwell on age, there will be a Sunday Smith won't there? Do our firearms count the years or only the targets engaged well and the gentle scrubbing and maitenance when allowed out of the box after purchase? You see what a brain gets you?

  13. Let there be cake!

    Happy birthday, Tam!

  15. Staghounds said it all.

    Forty is surviveable.

And it makes your snark that much sharper.

    Happy Birthday, Tam

  21. Tam,

Happy Birthday to you!! Just think that if you'd succeeded in the Porche option (my high school plan for my 60's), we wouldn't have the gorgeous pic of you on your home page!

Hope you had fun celebrating what has been and what is to come!!

    Steve
