Ot-nay oo-tay ight-bray, if you know what I mean...

If you are going to steal the identity of another person in order to boost their transcripts so you can get into Harvard, you probably don't want to use someone who is missing and is actively being sought by their family and law enforcement. I'm just sayin'.

  2. I saw your little blurb and thought, "No one would do that!"

And then I read the article. Harvard AND Columbia? What happened at Yale and Princeton, dear?

What a strange sad story. And you're correct: a few lumens short of real candle power.

  3. Did...did Tam just make an obscure Fallout reference in her headline?

  4. Actually, it's an obscure Bored Of The Rings reference.

If it was in Fallout, then Fallout was referencing Harvard Lampoon.

  5. Tam-

That wouldn't surprise me in the least. Fallout did a fantastic job of weaving a number of subtle pop culture references throughout the game.

From Godzilla to Mad Max to South Park.

Yet they aren't blatant enough to take away from the story of wandering a post-apocalyptic southern California landscape that still gets retro-futurist nerds all hot and bothered.
