Today In History: Armageddon!
On this date in 1982, everyone on the Earth was killed as massive tidal forces ripped the planet's crust, triggering tsunamis and earthquakes of Biblical proportions during the great Syzygy.
It Happened! The .gov covered it up! The Bush nazis were behind it! Republicans stole the tidalwave! Al Bore saved us! Evil Corporate Kingpins like Helliburton caused the alignment to make millions!
And if that doesn't shred your last vestiges of respect for the bestseller list, I don't know what will.
