For the umpteenth time...

Yet another poll in a sidebar on a website (this time AOL) asked "Is America ready to elect an African-American or a woman President?" to which I can only respond with "Honey, this American is ready to elect an African-American woman, but the GOP won't run her and she's too smart for the job anyway."

I'm not sure I can make it to November. This Affirmative Action race is grinding me to a halt. The reason I loathe the Dem's candidates is because of their politics, not their genetics. I judge them by the content of their character and the vacuums in their heads (or souls, in Clinton's case) and not by the color of their skin or which bathroom they use.

  2. Of the three front-runners right now, Hillary is the only one against whom I'd be scared to play checkers

  3. If ya can't trust her to play checkers......

  4. Oh, trust is another issue altogether.

I wouldn't trust her with a burnt-out match, let alone The Button.

  5. True. Could you imagine playing Risk with her? If she got behind, she'd want an equitable distribution of available troops for the disadvantaged players, ie: her.

Hrrmm, kinda like the MI and FL delegates.

  6. I'd so vote for Condi if given the opportunity. I voted for Alan Keyes in one of our Republican primaries several years ago, but that was before he went bugnuts. J.C. Watts is on my shortlist, too, but he's been out of bloodsports oops...politics long enough that he's not remembered.

But hey, I'm just a bitter, racist southern white guy who clings to guns and religion(huh?) instead of forward-thinking, progressive ideology. I don't know 'nuthin.

    Regards,
    Rabbit.

    rabbit, you still can.

Do what you want with your vote, and write her in.

That's what I'm doing, and she's the only person on the national stage right now who's even remotely qualified for the job, in my opinion.

  9. I like Condi, but her time at State hasn't impressed me at all. Even after 4 years, the State Department is still part of the problem, not part of the solution.

  10. I'd vote for a green, six-toed hermaphrodite if it would run on the platform of staying the hell out of my life.

And the State Department will never be part of any solution.

  11. But, if you don't vote for McCain, you're guilty of ageism!

  12. Personally, I love how the "identity politics chickens are coming home to roost" for the Democratic Party. If you vote Democrat you basically have to decide if you're either a racist or a misogynist.

Too bad this primary bloodletting can't go on for another six months. I'm sure much hilarity would ensue.
