Low End Mac has been around since the intarw3bz were run on abacii connected by tin cans and string. Having been a
collector accumulator of low-end Macs since I bought a used SE/30 back in '94, I've been a faithful reader for as long as I've owned a modem.
Now I'm no longer just a reader.
My first real writing gig. It's a big day for me. :)
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWay to go, gorgeous.

Congrats! I'd like to echo the joy of seeing the EBR on your tee, in a photo that will be seen by multitudes who aren't expecting it - and cause curiosity in some and consternation in others.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You deserve to be paid for your writing.
ReplyDeleteVery cool, congrats hope it continues
ReplyDeleteProfessional Geek! :-D
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
ReplyDeleteAbaci. Latin words ending in -us typically pluralize to -i, -ii is the plural of -ius forms.
ReplyDeleteThe nitpicking having ended, congrats.
Congrats!! I love my Macs. Almost as much as I love 1911's.
ReplyDelete:)

ReplyDeleteHope it's only the first of many.
ReplyDeleteNothin' quite like receiving cash money for doing something you love.
ReplyDeleteI'll probably never read any of it, but I'm still happy for you!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Hope it turns into many many good other things.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteDid I ever mention I have a 128k Mac somewhere in my basement?
Woot indeed.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an old Mac, but I have an Apple II+ I wrote papers on back in college. I believe it actually IS fossilized in the garage somewhere.
Great photo by the way. The quintessential Tam:
AR t-shirt: check

CCA Hat: check
Girly Green iBook: check
How 'bout that!!! I figured your 1337 Mad writing skills would have been snapped up by a smart/savy gun mag but a geek emag????
