w00t!

Low End Mac has been around since the intarw3bz were run on abacii connected by tin cans and string. Having been a collector accumulator of low-end Macs since I bought a used SE/30 back in '94, I've been a faithful reader for as long as I've owned a modem.

Now I'm no longer just a reader.

My first real writing gig. It's a big day for me. :)

  10. Congrats! I'd like to echo the joy of seeing the EBR on your tee, in a photo that will be seen by multitudes who aren't expecting it - and cause curiosity in some and consternation in others.

  13. Abaci. Latin words ending in -us typically pluralize to -i, -ii is the plural of -ius forms.

    The nitpicking having ended, congrats.

  20. Woot indeed.

I don't have an old Mac, but I have an Apple II+ I wrote papers on back in college. I believe it actually IS fossilized in the garage somewhere.

Great photo by the way. The quintessential Tam:

    AR t-shirt: check

    Combat Boots: check

    CCA Hat: check

    Girly Green iBook: check
