Cat haiku.

Paws tucked daintily
Under her chin, she's sleeping
Dream mouse dies screaming

  1. It a cat haiku. A freaky little cat haiku.

  2. If you knew the cat - and you do -- "freaky" would be redundant. Yet Rannie looks so sweet, napping.

    Word: "ftbones." How apt.

  5. A cat with long fur
She climbs in my lap with a
    poop stuck to her butt

Happened to me on Saturday. Yuk.

  6. Or as Gary Larson wrote in his famous cat cartoon, (with cat on a barstool, playing a guitar and singing),

    "Love to eat them mousies,
Mousies what I love to eat,
    Bite they little heads off,
    Nibble on they tiny feet..."

Not a haiku, but still my fave cat poem (as in, poem by a cat), although it actually is more a lyric.

  7. Correction to my last: Both Stumpy and Tomkitten give it two dew claws up, with Catnip Cluster for a haiku that rhymes.

  8. Bumper sticker-

    I like poetry,
    and walks on the beach,
and poking dead things with a stick.

  9. So have all the various cats declared a truce, or is there still a feline war being waged?
