Books. Bikes. Boomsticks. “I only regret that I have but one face to palm for my country.”
It a cat haiku. A freaky little cat haiku.
If you knew the cat - and you do -- "freaky" would be redundant. Yet Rannie looks so sweet, napping. Word: "ftbones." How apt.

'twas actually a quote from "Get Fuzzy"...
A cat with long furShe climbs in my lap with apoop stuck to her buttHappened to me on Saturday. Yuk.
Or as Gary Larson wrote in his famous cat cartoon, (with cat on a barstool, playing a guitar and singing), "Love to eat them mousies,Mousies what I love to eat, Bite they little heads off, Nibble on they tiny feet..."Not a haiku, but still my fave cat poem (as in, poem by a cat), although it actually is more a lyric.
Correction to my last: Both Stumpy and Tomkitten give it two dew claws up, with Catnip Cluster for a haiku that rhymes.
Bumper sticker-I like poetry, and walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.
Thanks - I like it!
So have all the various cats declared a truce, or is there still a feline war being waged?
