Wait... It's not actually my eyes.

I've been using Gunsmith Bob's computer for the last better part of a week. I got home and fired up the Mac and... *squint*

Wait, my eyes haven't gone bad from the drive, it's just that almost six days of a 17" monitor at 800x600 can make the old 15" LCD at 1024x768 look a little postage-stamp-y.

  1. Hopin' to. Gotta go in early tomorrow, aren't I fun?

I need to pick up cat food, don't I? And probably dinner.

  2. Oui. Canned kitty propellant is gone after this can.

  3. Yowch! Your eyes are not negotiable - start with a 19-inch screen at a minimum - and start another tip-jar for it!

  4. I'm with Dirtcrashr on that; life is too short to stare at a tiny screen.

  5. All a part of the lovely aging process. Wait until you actually get old, and then all hell breaks loose.

  6. I think that you're officially old when you start to complain about the @#$% that the young whippersnappers listen to.

Eyes are the least of it.

  7. A 24" Samsung LCD monitor can be had for $400 if you look around.

  8. $400 is nice.

Considering that I'm going to have to sell Girl Scout cookies (or more of my knife collection) for gas money to drive to Blackwater, it'll be a while before I buy any new monitors...

  9. There is no point in getting just one. Dual 24's or dual 22's are the way to go. I run duals at home and at work now. next I will put another 22 in at home for a triple using a single and a dual headed card.

There is no such thing as enough screen real estate.
