If you get an unexpected doorbell ring in the middle of the day and you slip a 103-year-old Colt Pocket Hammerless in .32ACP into the back pocket of your jeans to go see who it is, you have to tear up your Tammy Tactical card, no matter what round is in the chamber.
(It was the termite dude to check the perimeter defenses, FWIW...)
On the other hand, it's a little hard to slip an M-4 in your back pocket when you go to answered the unexpected knock at the door...

If you get a tac rail put on, add some sort of laser grip, thread the barrel, and put on tritium night sights then do you think they'd at least let you back in on a probationary basis?

ReplyDeleteAre they still selling that ammo? I bought a large quantity of both the .25 ACP and .32 ACP a couple of years ago because I was told by the manufacturer that they were going to stop selling those particular rounds. Got an excellent price too.
Well, by large quantity I mean a couple of hundred rounds each, which is a lot for a couple of calibers I rarely use. But the .25 works great in my Browning Baby and the .32 works well in my North American Arms .32.
Untactical is kewl, backpocket is way-kewl.

Tam: I checked with Wierd Ed (not me, the other one) who lives in the woods with a house full of Kropatcheks, Lebels, and other odd creatures, and he says his Siamese runs fine on a 1914 Enfield follower and spring, after a bit of grinding to length.

ReplyDeleteI'm with tbeck. When a projectile (even a .32) leaves the muzzle with the head-start of already being inside the badguy's body, it's definitely going to leave a mark :)
