I think that, as a rule, middle aged men should not strike up conversations with young girls, which is why I don't do such a thing. No good is likely to result from such behavior.
There is, of course, an exemption for need (example, "Pardon me, Miss, your bicycle seems to have ignited").
But otherwise, no, leave young girls alone, dammit!
You're right: it warmed the cockles of my heart. Not only did Xavier's daughter put a blowhard in his place, it's good to see one more girl who is taking steps to never be a victim.
While I wouldn't want a creepy old fat man to be chatting up my daughters like that, I hope they are in a position to totally pwn them like she did. :D
