Among the crap on the desk at VFTP Command Central:
1) A loaded S&W 296Ti.
2) An AR-15 bolt.
3) An AR-15 gas block/gas tube assembly.
4) A stack of "Unorganized Militia Propaganda Corps" patches.
5) A Yankee Hill Machine catalog.
6) A receipt for a box of 9mm from Beech Grove Firearms.
7) A S&W factory screwdriver.
8) Business cards from Indianapolis Ordnance, Classic Arms And Archery, Crimson Trace, Frank W. James, Michael Z. Williamson, ParaUSA, International Cartridge Corporation, and Ohio Ordnance Works.
You wouldn't need to be CSI: Miami to figure out what I do with my free time...
I should straighten up my damn workspace.
If you can catalog it that thoroughly and find what you need, it's well-enough organized.
ReplyDeleteYou're machining a giant crossbow time machine with an auxiliary gunpowder charge to give you that extra kick after the super duper bowstring propels you towards the speed of light, so you can go back in time and Hope to Change history???
ReplyDeletewv: "scogme" I don't know if I'd want anyone to do that.
If I wrote the same post... it would give away half the contents of a Christmas stocking... and cause the same conclusions in the CSI team :-)
ReplyDeleteThat kind of sounds like the contents of my car / trunk. But I finally had to impose upon myself a 5-gun limit.
ReplyDeleteBecause of all the accoutrementmentage and ammo associated with each gun I either ran out of space or end up forgetting some of the must have goodies that go with each.
I mean you cant pull up to the local Wally World to run in for a minute with the inside of you car looking like the old Fetlas Trading Post with the round barrel of Moisant’s, Krag’s and Enfield’s in the back seat.

ReplyDeleteWow, that makes my desk sound truly boring. All I have on it is the .45 and a bunch of job-related paper and disks and shite...
ReplyDeleteHey. Tamalanche. :)
ReplyDeleteI have you beat. One loaded Ruger Security Six, half dozen assorted knives, at least three knife sharpeners that I can see, various scattered paperwork of bills and insurance information, including origianl documentation copies of my grand dads processing at Ellis Island in 1911, Pictures of me and my son's last hunting harvest in Colorado, an insurance check reimbursed to me for $964.68, an ACM money clip with $113, a fireworks "foriegn policy maker" in the shape of an artillary ordinance of some sort, a human skull, an Otis cleaning kit and an almost empty bottle of Microlon, various scattered loose cartridges in .44, .357, .38, .357sig, 4 boxes of Cyclone .22, and two plastic boxes of some cheapo .38 ammo, and various Rifleman mags and several books from the bible to Colt Single Action Army and computer programming scattered about and an almost empty bottle of Milagro Reposado Select Barrel Reserve.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen my desktop in months. I'm pretty sure it's made of wood though...

ReplyDeleteAre you planning a trip to Classic Arms and Archery?
