Some pinhead apparently had miles to go and promises to keep.
I haven't seen a description or picture of the unregistered rifle in question yet. I don't suppose it was a pimped out M4gery? That'd be my guess...
UPDATE: Okay, I went fishing around in Google and it was a wood-stocked .22LR. Maybe he wasn't a sleeper agent out to assassinate The One. Maybe he had just been dreaming about going squirrel hunting with Barry.
5 bucks on Remington 700. Vegas odds say 5:1 on Mosin-Nagant.
ReplyDeletethat it was a .22 makes my head hurt.
ReplyDeleteBTW....did you read the article? Unregistered ammo? What's that all about?
ReplyDeleteWho knows what baroque regulations pertain in Moscow on the Potomac?
ReplyDeleteA .22? Come on, that's no fun at all. I was hoping for something interesting like an 11mm Lebel, or a goddamned musket.
ReplyDeleteA .22LR? So, it WAS a deadly Assault Weapon!
ReplyDeleteNeed to dust off that AWB.
Looked like a Marlin 60 to me. I love how Barney Fife in the picture is holding it like it's a rattle snake.
ReplyDeleteRemember Alfred, miles to go before you sleep.
ReplyDeleteGood thing it wasn't an old Armalite Explorer .22 otherwise they could tell us all how it was on the old ban list. Oh wait, just add the Marlin 60 to the new ban list. No worries, problem solved.
Note to news media: A majority of people in Louisiana and many other states west of D.C. own .22 rifles. Many carry a .22 rifle in their truck out of habit and it isn't against the law where they live.
ReplyDeleteWhy didn't one single member of the White House Press Corps report on what exactly Alfred Brock was trying to deliver to the Messiah? Maybe Alfred was delivering fresh greens and a slab of ribs to the chosen one. Inquiring minds want to know.
I got a bolt-action .22 assault rifle: a Marlin that holds SEVENTEEN in the tubular magazine. I'm a stone killa
