ReplyDeleteThe Czechs and Poles have been better allies than most. The Hungarians have gotten good reports from the guys I know who worked with them.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they are trying to impress Uncle Sam extra hard, or maybe they know that a strong military tradition is essential to the preservation of freedom, but I'm glad they work with us.
Well, I think the Belisarius event is noteworthy. Though I can't say I'm as much of a fanboy as, say, SM Stirling or David Drake...
