Word of the Day:

"Obamanfreude".

Used in a sentence:
"Still, I can’t help but feel a bit of Obamanfreude at his predicament (as it sounds like he was an Obama supporter)."

  1. Had a commenter e-mail me a possible nickname for the big "O":

    Lil Mao-Mao.

Need to know a combination of pop culture, Chi-coms, and Kenyan terrorist groups to get full appreciation for this...

  3. "403 Error."

Like "Li'l Mao Mao", truly appreciating "Obamanfreude" necessitates a somewhat esoteric knowledge of language... being a geek, I like it!

  5. Huh. When I cut and paste the links, they work fine. When I click on them from my blog, I get a 403 Error...

    Weird.

  6. Obama and pop culture...

Am I the only one getting the Beatles' "Back in the USSR" running through my head when I see him on TV?

  7. Anon,

  9. Sorry about the 403's, folks. My anti-referrer spam filter gets a bit overzealous at times.

  10. The 403's should be gone now.

In my zeal to destroy referral spam I had gone a bit overboard by adding "blogspot.com" to the list of banned referrers. I have now unbanned it and you should be able to link through.
