Dick Daley will have his Olympics...

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- First lady Michelle Obama vowed Monday to "take no prisoners" as she and her husband launch an unprecedented bid for Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid.
You have to wonder what kind of dirt the mayor of Chicago has on the President to have the White House so on board for the 2016 Olympic bid.

Ah well, Chicago politics is nothing if not quid pro quo, and the Executive Branch is now merely Chicago politics writ large...

We don't have to wonder. It's Tony Rezko.

The Olympics are EVERYTHING to Daley. The bribes and kickbacks that come with the Olympic Looting are Daley's retirement and ensure that his successor will run interference so that Daley is not prosecuted after he leaves office.

If the Canadians were screaming across the border tomorrow, Barack would get on that plane and fly to Denmark. This is Daley's first priority and his puppet, Obama, will do as he is told.

  4. Be fun to see what hoops the Foreigners will have to jump through to bring their Olympic shooting irons into Chi-Town.

I suspect for the sake of diplomacy they will be granted "Only Ones" status.

Would still be nice to hear a horror story or two and hear Euro-Weenies sayin "Wait this is America, don't them Yanks cut their bread with machine guns there?"

  5. I told my wife the same thing. The Chicago 'families' had something on Obama. And he was their 'community organizer'.

I wonder what getting Dickie Daley his 'Lympics is gonna cost me personally, whether I pony up for a ticket or not....

  9. Besides, if Teh Won is in Copenhagen, he couldn't possibly be in DC doing Commander-in-Chief-ey things, like, I dunno, MAKING A DECISION on a subject (Afghanistan) that he was obviously such an expert just a a year ago...

Nothing scares a trooper more than discovering his officers don't have a clue what they're doing, or are afraid to make a decision and stick to it.
