Here's your sign.

So, the Blue Collar Comedy Tour is coming to Indy, according to the same TV commercial announcer they use for tractor pulls and furniture liquidation sales, FOR ONE! HISTORIC! NIGHT-IGHT-IGHT!

You might be a redneck if going to see Jeff, Bill, and Larry is something you consider "historic".

  7. We had one of those furniture liquidation places that was perpetually going out of business. "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE, THREE DAYS ONLY!" twice a year for 22 or so years. Finally they did actually go out of business but virtually no one showed up to the sale because they didn't believe them.

  8. Redneck poseurs, on the stage and in the seats.

Now if they'll just pose red on election day...that'll be historic!

  9. Feh, I can get the same thing in the same accent from my mother's brothers. The jokes are better, too.

I wonder how many people at that show are aware that Larry the Cable Guy has a college degree?

  10. Worth mentioning: I do get a kick out of Bill Engvall when he's on his own.

  12. I'd hold out on going unless Ron is with them.

    You mean ....Dan Whitney?
Check him out on You Tube...probably 75 pounds lighter, wearing a button down collar, starched, cotton LONG SLEEVED shirt and khakis!!

  15. GeorgeAtl: LtCG is a ground-up construct designed to make money by playing to people's stereotpyes about themselves. Engvall and Foxworthy have routines that can stand outside of the "redneck" label; Larry, not so much. So, yeah. And yet my aforementioned uncles think he's the greatest thing since cheese, which annoys me because they're smarter than that.

  16. Ron White is to that tour what Wayne Brady was to "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

As in, you know, the funny one.
