  1. I was eating lunch by a stock tank while antelope hunting many years ago when several cattle wandered up to the tank and started drinking. Since they were shielding me from the three antelope that I was watching I ignored them. As the antelope finally moved so I could get a clear shot without hitting any of the cows I dropped one. Most of the cows looked my direction when my 03a3 went off. But that was it. They were not spooked at all.

A few years later when I woke up from my lunch nap and found a small herd of buffalo had wandered into the area where I was resting, I quietly left the area. No thoughts of finding out if buffalo were as complacent about gun fire as cows every entered my mind.

  2. I shoot near my cows all the time.
For all of the notice I get, you would think I was shooting a pellet gun.

Does anyone make a hearing aid for bovine? Maybe mine are all hard of hearing.
