Pedal power.
Another 5+ miles on the bicycles today, running an errand and grabbing a bite at Panera Bread for lunch. (Riding a bicycle to eat at Panera; does it get more stereotypically Broad Riparian than that?)
All the while listening to NPR on your ipod.
ReplyDeletePicked up some arugula and tofu on the way home?
"...some cool flotsam..."
ReplyDeleteMake that "jetsam".
AT
Not celebrating the birthday of the French Foreign Legion?
ReplyDeleteI did like the story of Susan Travers.
Broad Ripplerian I believe.
ReplyDeleteThat gives me another one of my million dollar ideas. Flab offsets, just like carbon offsets. I think I just might become the first flab billionare.
ReplyDeleteBe careful, you wouldn't want to have a sudden acceleration syndrome if your pedal sticks.
ReplyDeleteThe culture, events, activities and inhabitants of Broad Ripple may properly be referred to as "Riparian."
ReplyDeleteWV: inalvid. Oh no we are not either!
i lurveses me some panera, precious. They have excellent iced tea.
ReplyDeleteAhhhhh....Panera Bread. One of my favorite sandwich shops!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait until I retire. Another 20 years or so and I can live like that.
ReplyDeleteWe always called inhabitants of the Ripple, "Rippleians" (pronounced "rip-PEL-ians").
ReplyDelete*seethes with jealousy*
ReplyDeleteThat's all I got.
WV: ankiese. If my ankiese wasn't always so hurties, I could rideies my bikies.
