Yum.

Met Shootin' Buddy for breakfast at Cafe Pretenchou.

Tried the newest addition to their Namesake Omelette list, the "California Dreamer": Avocado, cheddar, sour cream, and jalapenos. Two thumbs up!

  4. Yeah. Reading comprehension fail on my part, sorry.

Say, you feel like takin' a trip east over Columbus Day weekend? I hear there's some sort of event near the librarian's place... ;)

  5. Our newest addition to our delicious Namesake Omelette List is the "California Dreamer". The California Dreamer is made with three hearty Iowa raised free range longhorn eggs and smothered with free trade Peruvian avocado, cruelty free, open range, share milked cheddar and sour cream, topped with Oregon Tilth certified organic jalapenos and smothered with all the loss of liberty that has become a staple of California. Sure to fill your belly with happiness and your head with Marxism!

  6. Gotta say I prefer my homemade "California Nightmare" omelette...

Six eggs with most of the whites removed, very well beaten and blended, a quarter pound each of good sharp cheddar and bacon Bacon BACON...leave the egg wrap a little "loose" on the inside, garnish with some more cheddar and bacon, and chow down! You might not want to plan to much activity immediately afterwards, though.

  8. No, no. The California Dreamer uses real hash in the hash-browns.
