ReplyDeleteI dunno. Ohio Ordnance is kinda the "home of the BAR", since they're the only people I know of making semi-auto repros.
Judging by where it's sitting, though, that one's the real deal. There's a transferrable Group Industries M1918 on their site for $22,500, so that might be it.
@Woodsman: We have a crispy, beautiful unfired Group Industries BAR up for sale on Gunbroker for $19,500...and for the man who must have everything there's an original Boyt manufacture leather BAR scabbard to mount on the side of your Jeep for another $600. Cheap!
ReplyDelete@Tam: Jap 99...the poor-man's BREN! Cheap shootin' too if you can find one of the 7.62x39 conversions that uses AK mags...the much lower recoil also helps save on breakage.
Unfired? Even if I had the bucks, and bought it, I'd feel like I was raping a virgin if I chambered one round and fired it.
