When my older son was a wee fella, we used to go to the zoo to see the pannakins and the trumpuses. (No, I don't know what they are either. We still go to the zoo, and I still can't figure it out.)
Once in a while we would go to Sea World (RIP Sea World of Ohio) to see "sharks, fish, sharks, whales, and fish."
FYI modern-made giraffles and heffalumps are made with a lightweight waterproof coatings, so they no longer need extensive maintenance during rain showers...
The shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa, writing in his retirement a book for his son on how a leader should behave and rule, noted that a samurai should never run in the rain, but rather should walk normally. It is only water, after all, and self control with dignity is more important than wet hair and soggy garments.
And the critters at the zoo would have been impressed to see you out in the rain, too.
Trade ya! My favorite mountain bike trail is unridable due to the large trees and other flood debree completely covering it. Sad as it won't be cleared up until spring most likely.
Stranger still, it waited until Frank got his soybeans in.

Quoting my ex-MIL to my kids, her grandchildren at the ages of 4 and 6.
