I was told that I start my new job on Wednesday the 30th, so, today has been confusing all over the place. Must be a regional weather phenomenon. Hope your day comes back around.
I highly recommend getting friendly with something about 80 proof or better, and reading material that doesn't involve any current events. (I'm trying that out now, will see if it works)
Sorry to hear that. Maybe you should apply with the TSA?
ReplyDeleteSo try feelin' something else.
ReplyDeleteTam,
ReplyDeleteIt's always beneficial to step back and take a breath, now and then.
I'm certain your readers will understand and look forward with anticipation for your next incisive post. I know I will.
There seems to be a lot of that going around. Hope it passes quickly, Tam.
ReplyDeleteToast, tea, bath. If that doesn't do it then Terry Pratchett b.i.d. until you feel relief from the blahs.

ReplyDeleteNo problem Tam! Hope that one of the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne returns soon!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I can just imagine Tam doing song and dance routines...
ReplyDeleteIf you had some Orangina, you would be feelin' it.

ReplyDeleteWe wish you well, and hope you soon recover your relationship to the Muse of Snark.
ReplyDeleteBuck up! Rannie the cat is counting on you -- no, correction, sleeping on you. Which comes to the same thing for a cat.
ReplyDeleteIt takes a lot of time & energy to bring so much joy to so many so often you may need a small break.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
It is *definitely* going around, as I'm stopping here before another round of desperately trying to find something I have something to say about.
ReplyDeleteHope we both get over it soon.
Feel better. That's an order.
ReplyDeleteOld Irish saying (Really).
ReplyDeleteThe first part of a boat is a plank.
The first part of a journey is a step.
The first part of health is sleep.
Tuck in and forget us all. We'll still be here in the morning. Sleep well.
It's going around, you're not alone.

A guy I know says the band he's in plays this number alot.
Thanks for the laughs from your preferred version of "My Way" by the Sex Pistols.
Hmmm. So it's not just me.
ReplyDeleteI'm new at this, but if you and Labrat are also stranded in the doldrums, then at least I'm in good company.
Weather here is cold and wet. I'm doing lots of reading, but no thoughts of my own seem to be forming.
When I'm not receiving passive input, I just kind of shut down like C3PO.
Food. Beer. Sleep. Movies. Books.
Repeat.
Rest; we'll all be here when you come back.

Whaaaaaat?! I was promised free ice cream!
