Jonesing.

If I don't get that M&P15-22 to the range this weekend, I'm gonna be pretty torqued off about it.

Seriously. I am jonesing to shoot that thing in the worst possible way.

  1. Ok...I'll bite. What's the worst possible way to shoot an M&P15-22?

  2. Feeling that way about my model 17. I let my membership lapse, so I may have to resort to (Back yard, Mk1, Mod2).

  5. Just one recommendation: When loading magazines, gently drop the rounds in one at a time, pulling down on the loading discs on the sides of the mag and letting them push up again before loading the next round, That seems to allow the rounds to seat properly to avoid malfunctions. I'd also load only about 23 rather than the advertised 25 rounds.

  6. You'll love your M&P 15-22 Tam, I can't say enough good thing's about my own 15-22 MOE. The only thing you'll begrudge yourself on is the large quantity of 22LR round's your buying. Win!!! Happy Holiday's and hope all goes well with you and yours.

  7. The need only gets worse after you do finally shoot it.

On the mag loading, there's that little slot down the back, just keep the tail end of the rounds to make sure they're staggered and you should be good to go( as seen here ). That and lube often, it is a dirty little .22 after all.

  8. I've been thinking about an M&P 15-22 or just getting a dedicated .22 LR upper. Do you have a dedicated .22 upper and bought the M&P too? Or did you face the same decision and choose the M&P? Y4?
