Keep this gun off the street!

Every time an Evil Black Rifle finds a new home, an angel gets its wings...

Good on ya, Borepatch!

  3. I'm now going to refer to any purchase of a used firearm as a "rescue" and chalk it up as good karma.

  6. Anonymous, Tam is right. I have indeed escaped - with my whole family - from behind Enemy lines to the USA.

But Tam, while I certainly appreciate the linkage, I haven't actually bought this. The point of my post was that I *could* buy this, with my Mass ID, in Georgia but not Mass.

That said, the only reason reason I didn't buy this is because of financial stress. I'm guessing a couple large would land this sweet, sweet shooter in my gun closet. As Hegel would say, it's a Categorical Imperative to buy an EBR with high^H^H^H^H standard capacity mags, bayonet, and "sniper" optics. Pour encourager les autres.

[Waynes World] Some day, she will be mind. Oh, yes. [/Waynes World]

While I love the old mil surp rifles, the ERB makes a statement to everyone we left behind in Massachusetts. We'll get to it presently, once we're financially back on our feet.

Sorry for leaving the wrong impression. Of course, if anyone wants to send me a couple grand just to poke the good burghers of Beacon Hill in the eye, please send them my way!

  8. That he could use his MA driver's license to buy it is delicious irony sauce.
