Try to relax, kitty...
Huck was on the futon, sleeping on his back and looking completely unstressed, but unfortunately the camera powering up and charging the flash seems to have caused him to wake up...
LOL! It is amazing how kitties know when the camera is going to be broken out. Mine are very good at waking up the minute I even THINK about grabbing the camera!
My cat has a rather acute instinct for moving right when I hit the shutter button. Sure, she'll pose before the shot. But the photo will be just a grey blur.
This is why I like my phone, 5MP camera which operates silently. It is reliant on ambient light though. I'm glad he and Rannie are getting on better now, too.
The last cell phone I had made a very annoying noise every time I tried to take a picture with it. It startled the kitteh and frightened the birds when I tried to take pictures of them.
I have read that this has to do with some law in Japan that requires cameras to make a noise when used by pervy Japanese boys (but I repeat myself) to take upskirt pics of girls on escalators and suchlike places.
My cat always wakes up when I unzip the camera case. But that's still a nice pic.

ReplyDeleteLooks like the little guy fell asleep whilst reading some kind of hair care pamphlet.
ReplyDeleteFuzzy kitty tummy!

It's not the same. Shoot.
It's a tuff job but someone has to do it.
ReplyDeleteNice cat...

This pose is very common around our house. The monster cat in particular seems to like reversing gravity every now and then.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tam, I saw the pic of Huck drooling over the squirrel and wanted to see more of him.
ReplyDeleteYeah, slow day :-)
Looks just like my old gal Percy.
Joanna,

It took all the control I have to walk past him and not rub his belly. ;)
Dammit, I want another kitty now (coming from a dog=guy)
ReplyDeleteThey are just too fun.
"Why do you want a cat?"
Because I can :-P
WV: ressed
Yep, Huck looks very ressed.
