Overheard on the Phone:

RX: "Hey, I've got to go by my mom's and change out the screen on her door, but you should know that the West Coast Tacos truck is in front of the Fresh Market..."

Me: "Cool! Thanks! Gotta run!"

I don't know what the secret ingredient is, but dang those things are good. I got there just in time to be the last customer of the day...

  4. Still on your honeymoon with that Optimus? I don't blame you. I've had mine since March and I still have to check in on Facebook whenever I go to a restaurant or theater.

    Mmmmm...a drive-by tacoing...

It's nice to live in the proverbial sticks, but these food trucks of yours - with such wonderful recipes to share - are certainly a wonder. Thanks for sharing.

  6. It literally took a Court Case to get Food Trucks Legal inside the Cleveland City Limits because of Opposition by the "Over-Priced Restaurants in Downtown Cleveland" Lobby. Since the Feds busted all those Corrupt Cuyahoga County Politicians, paying off the Political Elite to ensure you maintain your Exclusive Source of Income sure doesn't help anymore. Having said that, "Roach Coaches" have been serving food at Factories around here since I was in High School.

  7. We don't have any food trucks here in Salt Lake, but you can't throw a rock anywhere in the west side of the valley without hitting a Mexican cart serving tacos, menudo, tongue, etc., and a guy that almost talks English.

  8. If anything like the taco trucks out here in Arizona, the meat is pigeon.

    Its pretty tasty anyway.

  9. Umm, isn't pigeon the same thing served up to the big bucks crowd as "squab"? Or am I wrong again?

  10. Do they do fish tacos? Fish tacos are super-yummy, but it has to be something like red snapper or mahi-mahi, not Gorton's yellow-jacket bucket-hat fisherman-fish.

  11. Just spicy beef, spicy pork, or a coupla different varieties of chicken.
