Here at VFTP, we do not do candidate endorsements, other than "If you feel like voting, vote your conscience and not like it's picking a winning football team."
However, I would like to offer my first official un-endorsement: If you live in Hoosieropolis and intend to participate in this coming Tuesday's quadrennial mayoral log-rolling, payola, and back-scratching festival, please do not vote for Melina Kennedy, who has announced her intention, if elected, to join Bloomberg's "Mayors Above-averagely Indicted Group".
Thank you. *shakes bowcaster*
.
Careful where you point that thing!
ReplyDeleteHeinlein's Law: "There may not be someone you want to vote For, but there's ALWAYS someone you want to Vote Against."
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, it looks like that won't be applicable in the upcoming 2012 Presidential Election.
Mayor Ego ... er ... Bloomberg is sticking his nose into Virginia politics. He's donated $25,000 to a number of anti-freedom candidates for VA State Senate. Details at:

In my wishful thinking, there exists somewhere a picture of him in flagrante delicto with a black gun...
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking "Gunnies Against Idiot Mayors".
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to stock up on beer before election day!
ReplyDeleteBeing told I couldn't buy that 6 pack today was always guaranteed to get me in a wookie sort of mood when I was living in the relatively free state of Indiana.
Lets see...if I hired someone to go to another state...lie about who they are buying a gun for...and then falsify the paperwork; I'd probably be sent to prison. Mayor Scumbag does it, and it's just a publicity stunt for political points. Right...now tell me again how he's such a friend of the people and all about justice.
ReplyDeleteWV: Clampeco-something that deserves to be tied to Mayor so-and-so's...oh, you already know
