QotD: Worst Come To Worst Edition

And if all that fails? Screw it, we can cross the streams.

Hoe. Lee. Shit. I think my hair turned completely white after reading that.

  2. Let's say this Twinkie represents the normal amount of corruption energy in the DC area.

According to this morning's sample, it would be a Twinkie thirty-five miles long, weighing approximately 600,000,000,000 pounds.

    That's a big Twinkie.

  3. Alright, that makes palatable the resignation that I've been staring at, sitting here on my plate. That there is some possibility of looking at this with some humor helps.

I think that it's an Irish saying, "Laugh so you don't cry." There's no way to apply that to our current predicament--sinsemilla couldn't make the thought of Obama one mo' time funny.

  4. But on the gripping hand I know we'd be rid of the devil we know in 4 years regardless. The time limit on the other guy is somewhat longer.

  5. Too Late. I already looked in the Box.

    That's why I'm supporting Kobayashi-Maru in 2012.

  6. Obama's kevlar was the most electorally irrelevant, yet mentally incompetent, boob to be one heartbeat away from Clinton's favorite splatter art throne.

  7. I tend to agree with Robb, and echoing a previous Tam post - they're both pretty bad (OK, abysmal), but at least Romney won't be in "No re-election worries; now the gloves come off!" mode.

The scary thing is, from the liberty/freedoms front, both the major parties have fully and enthusiastically embraced the Endless War on Terror and Omnipotent Surveillance State models of governance. With one party, we get a left-wing Stalinist Gulag system, the other way we get a right wing Stalinist Gulag system. There is literally nothing to choose between the two parties on this front.

  8. "Supreme Court Justice Eric Holder"
and Supreme Court Justice Hillary Rodham Clinton.

What could go wrong? It's not like anything we care about hinges on court decisions.

But he won't have a congress strongly aligned against him either.

  10. I'd say that with Romney in office, nothing he proposes will get thru Congress easily, as the Dems will be screaming the whole time he's in office!
