Snakes on a plane.

So they think that they have footage of the fugitive cannibal killer passing through multiple layers of cameras and scanners and scrutiny before being locked in a supposedly secure metal tube with a couple hundred unsuspecting potential victims...

Boy, if that's not the best commentary ever on the futility of this goofy modern mania for "security" at the expense of anything faintly resembling "privacy".

As an aside, I'll bet journalism majors lay awake in bed at night dreaming of being able to use the words "gay internet porn actor fugitive cannibal killer" in a headline without having to quit and work for the Weekly World News to do so.

  1. Kind of reminds me of the call the secretary made to the security desk in our hospital.
She said,"I think two guys just stole the lamps out of our waiting room. They were dressed sort of like housekeeping personnel."
Desk Officer,"Let me check the cameras. Yeah, you're right. They just put them in the back of a car and are driving away."
Of course, the alternative to them doing nothing is to have the Police Drone launch a Hellfire at everyone who matches the face recognition profile.

  2. You left out "Canadian" in that headline. :-)

  3. "Investigators seized empty Coke bottles..."
Which would be contraband, had they been NYPD.

As a Montrealer, having a bisexual sociopath killer who's playing scavenger-hunt-for-the-body-parts-with-Canada-Post on the news has been a bit a relief from three months of constant anti-tuition-hike student protests.
