  14. Merry Christmas Tam!

Have some chili in one crock pot and some wassail brewin' in the other.

House smells pretty good on this COLD winter day.

Presumably, once the logjam loosens up, Santa will be bringing me a FSB and a receiver extension kit.

    Ditto on the chili. ]-D

  20. Merry Christmas Tam!

Barkley is feeling a little better but we're staying in and quiet as the vet recommended.

There is leftover roast beast from dinner the other night and the trimmings, good coffee and dog treats.

I hope the storm passes us by, stay safe and warm.

  24. Merry Christmas to the cats and staff at Roseholme Cottage. Your's (and Bobby's) blogs are examples of what (and who) is still right with a world gone wrong.

May your blessings be bountiful and your trials trivial in the new year!

  36. Why, Thank You Ma'am, and a belated Same to You! As it turns out, the Pastor came over and drove me to his house, where we had an excellent Christmas dinner. As the token Saxon (those guys are all Irish) I got to be ballast, and keep all of those fey Irish from just floating up into the heavens in joy.

I am not kidding. The Pastor's wife is lead soprano in the music party, and seems to spend half of her time in the service up in the air, the way she jumps around. At least I've taught them to refrain from hugging me at the Peace, and settle for a decent dignified Anglo-Saxon Protestant handshake.
