Observing the presidential motorcade rolling by, NBC talking head Willie Geist just used the nickname for that huge new GMC-truck-cum-Caddy-limousine by saying "Yes, the Beast is passing right in front of us now."
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Freepers suddenly snorted coffee through their noses...
.
Tell me the license plate is 666!

You made my day.
ReplyDeleteThat's just sweet.
ReplyDeleteBTW -- Thanks for watching so I don't have to.
Coffee/nose hurts.
ReplyDeleteDo you suppose he was referring to the Beast with the new haircut?
Was Michele in it?
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha. I can't bring myself to watch it keep tweeting
ReplyDeleteIt's wearing D.C. plates - you know, the ones with the motto, 'Taxation without Representation'. Morons.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure he wasn't talking about Michelle?

ReplyDeleteAlmost certainly not verbatim, but creative numerology is capable of astonishing feats.
I would've said The Smiler myself.
ReplyDeleteYep, it 'is' locally known as the "Beast" and they apparently had three of them in the parade...
ReplyDeleteAnd four of them on MSNBC.

Second Coming indeed.
ReplyDeleteWhy was he riding? Way I heard it, he'd be slouching towards Bethlehem.
ReplyDeleteIf they'd remarked on the smell of Brimstone, that would have been even better.
ReplyDeleteThere his American express. He don't leave home without it.
ReplyDeleteHe SAID he was referring to the truck.
ReplyDeleteRehab coming for Mr. Geist in 5, 4, 3...
Im laughing so hard my stomach is cramping. Seriously, tam the thing about freepers... Gold.
ReplyDeleteOh, ted, by the way, i wish youd allow open posting again. I really miss polluting your blog with my witty wittiness.
well, if you know yer history, the Beast was first purchased and used by Dubya.
ReplyDeleteTrue, and so what? Bush the Younger's wife is a lady in the Mauve Decade sense of the word. Nobody gets that murderous Winnie Mandela necklace-them vibe from her. The seeds of Beast jokes sprout elsewhere.

Had it been Fox News the rest of the media would not be taking it so quietly and philosophically.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 12:36, THAT faux pas will get YOU the reeducation camps, because we all know what you really meant after we decode what you actually said.
