- Connecticut state lawmaker proposes making public the handgun carry permit holder database in the Nutmeg State. I don't mean to go all Godwin here, but I was moderately surprised when his rhetoric didn't close with "demonstrations against gun owners should not be prepared or organized by the party, but insofar as they erupt spontaneously, they are not to be hampered."
- Sebastian breaks down the WaPo article on the forthcoming Administration assault on your Second Amendment rights.
- AGirlAndHerGun posted some family range time pics. That looks like fun! I need to shoot long guns more.
- Remember that 'world without guns' post I wrote the other day? Well, Tim at Gun Nuts Media took the ball and ran with that sucker. Expect to find this essay in your email inbox within the next six months, credited to a "Maj. Caudill, USMC".
Books. Bikes. Boomsticks.
“I only regret that I have but one face to palm for my country.”
"Maj. Caudill, USMC" - you forgot the honorific "legendary".. Catching up with "Kilroy was here"...
ReplyDeleteJust wondering how many of those members of the Party who "Spontaneously" try to bring back Krystal Nacht might want to NOT do so. See, a lot of the Gun Owners out there might just have had it with those Kids on their Lawn.
ReplyDeleteBut hey, if they "Feel" (thanks Og!) that Three Verses of Kumbaya beat 8 rounds of '06......
ALL THIS AND MORE FROM THE FOLKS WHO BROUGHT YOU "SUPPORT PEACE LOVE HARMONY AND MENTAL HEALTH FREE SPEECH OR I WILL KILL YOU !"
ReplyDeleteTim's got chops:
ReplyDelete"he gun on the hip of a police officer is a tool of personal defense, but it’s also a blatant threat. That officer’s gun is backed up by a lot more officers with a lot more guns. Get to be too big a problem and guys in different uniforms with even bigger guns will come and fix your little red wagon. We understand this. We pay for this. We want this. We want this because even the most weepy-eyed idealist recognizes on a visceral level that there are some people who will never be convinced to clap for Tinkerbelle. They will have to be put down with violence…frequently lethal violence."
I'm MAJ Caudill and I approve this post.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link!!!
ReplyDeleteI suppose the next step is to force gun owners to wear yellow pistol outlines on all of their clothes...for the children, of course.
ReplyDeleteSheesh, there's even an article going around looking at how Japan became a "gun free" place. Because being "gun free" stopped the 8 primary-school kids being knifed to death by that psycho janitor and the guy who ploughed his car into a crowd and started stabbing the survivors and the sarin gas-attacks by the Aum Shinrikyo cult...
ReplyDeleteBut hey, at least Japanese civilians can't shoot anyone, that's the main thing.
It's "Ausweis, bitte," and Schutzhaft for the gunowners who refuse to give in to the mob.
ReplyDeleteTo feel safe from the crazies, let's make things easier for criminals to know the sheep have been de horned and de hooved. To then feel safe from the criminals, let's do away with the archaic search and seizure laws, they only hamstring the police, anyway.
